What is the Blues Challenge?
The Blues Foundation, in Memphis TN, hosts an annual event in which affiliated blues organizations can send musicians to participate in the International Blues Challenge where musicians from around the world play at the clubs on Beale Street for a chance to win prizes. The event is a great way to be seen festival buyers, record labels, venue buyers, and the networking is priceless. Competing or not, anyone that is serious about expanding their blues networking should make their way to Memphis during IBC week. More details can be found here: IBC
